Saturday, February 21st, I'll be teaching two Intro to Paper Making classes at The Parkersburg Art Center.
The first class, from 1-2:30, is for kiddos grades 1-5. We'll make our own textured poured and molded papers from recycled scraps and natural materials. Parents can stay to help their kiddos for no extra charge (35.00/per student). Sign up here:
The second class that same day (2/21), from 3:30-5:30, is for adults and kiddos grades 6 and up. Similar class, but a bit more hands-on, using the blender, an iron (for drying and smoothing), and poured, skimmed and molded papers. With the extra time this class allows, we can add found materials (leaves, grass) to our paper, as well as make plantable seed papers. 35.00/per student. Sign up for this class, here:
