How to Order Prints:

To make your ordering process go as smoothly as possible, here are your options for ordering prints, gifts and canvases.

To provide the best service possible to all of our customers, it is preferred that all orders be placed within three (3) weeks of image gallery posting

for portraits, and 1 month for weddings. This allows for the easiest/most direct access to your files and information, which means faster shipping

to you.

First, access your image gallery by going to the main website:

and click on the View Your Photos link, near the bottom right corner of the page. Look for your name(s) under the month in which your session or wedding took place, and click on your name(s). Enter ANY e-mail address

to access your gallery. No password is required unless a specific request for a password has been personally made.

Second, list family and friends youd like to select gifts for. And if you

want specific places in your home to be decorated with your new artwork, list the rooms and sizes of walls/spaces to be filled (ex. 10x15 wall = 24x30 canvas?)

Third, make notes of your favorite images. This can be done by making a favorites folder on your gallery, by clicking on the "+favorites" text (or

Star icon) directly below the chosen image(s). If you prefer to keep a

hand written list, just write down the image/file name directly below your chosen image(s). If you find there are two different images you need to compare, select the Compare box below each image you want to compare, and the two images will open up together in a new window.

Fourth, cross reference that handy, dandy Order and Gift Planning Sheet

list youve made with your favorite images, and write down the file number, quantity, size, item type and description (necklace, canvas, etc.) if necessary. With photographic prints, no item description is necessary unless BW, sepia or special editing is requested.

And finally, place your order. Hooray! There are several easy ways to place that order:

-Through the image gallery site select each image you want to purchase by clicking on the little shopping cart icon below each image. The shopping cart will bring you to a list of product options with pricing, where you just select the size and quantity and move on to the next image. At the end of your purchase, you may check out and make payment with personal check, cash or credit card via Paypal or standard Credit Card payments through the ordering site only. If a package print credit applies to your order, simply select Check or Cash as your preferred form of payment. In the notes field included at the bottom of the online order form, mention the credit in question, and your actual method of payment. If paying by cash or check, payment may be mailed or delivered at a scheduled time.

-OR-Send your entire order in an e-mail to either msmphotogirl@yahoo.com, or michelle@michellewaters.com.

-Appointments are available to help with your ordering process, in your home or in our office, but are available on a fairly limited schedule due to weddings and portrait sessions keeping us on the road. :)

-Phone call orders are not preferred, due to possible communication errors. Having the order in writing/print, directly from you (via the website, Order Form or e-mail) are the most reliable forms of ordering, and ensure the fastest delivery and best service.

**SPECIAL NOTES**Unless individually noted/requested, all prints 5x7 and smaller will be printed as is (the way you see them in the image gallery). Slight color and contrast balance may be done to enhance the final product, at the studios discretion.

Prints 30x40, down to 5x7 will most likely need some cropping to fit the ordered print size (an 8x10 is a 4x5 ratio and will lose height compared to a 4x6 image). Basically, some cropping will be done on enlargements, but we hand crop every image, so everything within our power is done to keep important things from being cut off. :)

All prints 11x14 and larger will now include a matte lamination for protection, and mounting for sturdiness. If you do not want these additional services, let us know in the special notes field. If you would like matte lamination/mounting on prints smaller than 11x14, let us know.

Special editing requests (cropping at a certain spot for an enlargement, removing blemishes, BW/Color combos, removing glare, etc.) within our abilities will be done for no extra fee, but must be requested in the special notes field of the online ordering, printable Order Form, or e-mail orders. Special editing will not be assumed. If you have questions/concerns about certain images, kindly contact us before placing your order.

All prints are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of order placement. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, return the print/product with a note explaining the reason for your dissatisfaction. You may request a reprint, request a different print/product, or receive a studio credit towards future purchases.

Turnaround:

Orders are placed every Monday through our studio.

Images 8x10 and smaller should arrive at your home within 2-3 weeks from receipt of payment.

Images 10x10 and larger (including canvases) should arrive at your home within 3-4 weeks from receipt of payment.

Estimated turnaround times do not include holidays.
